Warren Bennis came together with his friend and colleague Steven B. Sample and co-author Rob Asghar to write The Art and Adventure of Leadership, a candid exploration of the forces that shape successful and unsuccessful leaders. Along with Leaders, On Becoming a Leader, and An Invented Life, this final book captures the essence of his legacy in the leadership canon.

A Leadership Pioneer
Warren Bennis was an American scholar, organizational consultant and author, who is widely regarded as the pioneer of the contemporary field of leadership. In 2007, Business Week called him one of ten business school professors who have had the greatest influence on business thinking. He received 20 honorary degrees, spent time as an adviser to four United States presidents and several other public figures, and consulted for numerous FORTUNE 500 companies.
Bennis wrote or edited 30 books, which have been translated into 21 languages, and many articles on three of his passions – leadership, organizational change, and creative collaboration.

The Art and Adventure of Leadership
Intellectual sparks flew when Warren Bennis, the father of modern leadership studies and Steven B. Sample, one of the most accomplished university presidents in recent history, came together for candid explorations of the forces that shape successful leaders. Their final collaboration reveals the profound insights the authors gained over 16 years co-teaching one of the most popular leadership courses in America.
